As a member of our Business Development team, the Business Development Specialist identifies, evaluates, prospects, develops, negotiates, and executes contracts for new accounts within various industries by calling on competitive and dry accounts. Following up with inquiries from the website and other online marketing channels.

Responsibilities include:

  • Prospect competitive, new and dry accounts through cold calling and visiting
  • Maximize customer revenue potential by understanding their objectives, programs key strategies, concept, competitors, and consumer/shopper targets, and developing collaborative execution plans
  • Execute on yearly company initiatives and priorities in new and existing accounts
  • Ensure precise, consistent, and timely communication with internal and external customers
  • Stay up to date and informed about digital marketing product offerings for SEO Bandwagon and other competitors
  • Build relationships at multiple levels and functions in order to influence key internal and external decision-makers
  • Create offers for exclusive agreements through profit analysis and presentations
  • Set up new accounts, including pricing, call, and delivery date
  • Travel as necessary

Required Skills:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 1+ year of sales, marketing, or service experience preferred
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Written, Verbal, and Presentation
  • Detailed, organized with a strong sense of urgency
  • Ability to work with others, internal associates, external customers, and other vendors

Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred
  • 2+ years SEO experience preferred; prior work with attorneys preferred
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Google Workspace, and Hubspot
